Burl's Creek Event Grounds Inc. ("Burl's Creek"), Republic Live Inc., and four other companies were each charged with four offences for the 2016 concert season. This is the second year in a row Burl's Creek has been charged for using Agricultural/Rural land for non-permitted uses. Burl's Creek, Republic Live Inc. and the others will be back in Orillia Provincial Court May 8, 2017 after the first appearance on March 8, 2017. Burl's Creek et al. each face zoning and licensing charges for the Wayhome Festival and Boots and Hearts Festivals.
